At the top
Of this pen
Sees my face
Put this in
How much peace
We could gain
By letting go
Of covets reign
I see it for
The thing it is
A cancer of soul
Needs a sieve
Bestowing so many problems
And it never gives
So much lost peace
Ensuring it strongly lives
Help push coveting away
Resist it on any day
Plenty of tragedies to spare
But coveting belongs nowhere
A great leap of mankind
If no coveting to find
Much fewer wars or fewer feuds within
All if coveting could sink not swim
{Scroll up for poem or home }
