The rose enclose
Which scent it throws
To bee or nose
Of this it stows
Whether apple red
Or white as snow
Its fame it throws
Like shedding clothes
Like petals aground
Without a sound
A bed to shed
Rain will softly tread
A dripping beauty form
Of rain or storm
Contrast with norm
Of prickly thorns
