After spoken confidence
And feeble tries
The kings and queens
Eventually hide
Behind the knights
And pawns to die
Hands have slid
From peace held high
The irony of honor
And gallant tries
Is murder disguised
Br righteous eyes
The right to war
Is firmly saddled
While homes and dreams
Are quickly rattled
