I once had a toy
It was such a joy
Under clouds or sun
It was such fun
Feeling better than some
I showed it to everyone
Like the next door girls
Who gave it a twirl
I proudly watched them play
As if theirs for the day
It was a sunny day
That quickly turned grey
As I picked up the pieces
And slowly walked home
How was I to know?
They were accident prone
